Nope, must be out in the cold mud. Nude. Tastefully done, but Nude.

Inside somewhere? I know just the place. You'll both probably stand to make quite a bit of cash as well.

But seriously, is this really so off base? I know I for one get nervous anytime I see Jesse or Wes. These are two of the sketchier dudes I've met in the red and it's not like there's a high standard of people there anyways.

why does everything that women do have to be set up so men can get their jollies off?

No offense to Jesse because he's about the nicest thing around but I don't think LLR should be ostracized for thinking some guy is sketchy and sharing that information with her friends. I think everyone on this board is guilty of talking shit about someone they don't know and sometimes even later finding out that person is a cool individual.

I remember, when I first moved to Lexington, several people thought I was a lesbian. I was really picky with who I dated and, since I didn't find anyone attractive in town, I remained single. I'm also outspoken, tomboyish, and affectionate to people I care about (women included) so I guess folks thought I could've been playing for the other team. Anyway, I found out through the grapevine that people I knew closely were spreading that rumor and I was very upset! I mean, I was pissed! I talked to those people and set them straight (no pun intended) but I remained upset about it for quite a long time. Now, looking back, I'm not upset and don't blame anyone for spreading rumors. Stereotyping people and gossiping about it is what people do and I'm probably just as guilty of it as anyone. I'd like to think I don't judge people but that's just not realistic.

I met dirt this past year, and have shared a rope with him many times. I can only say this: he has been a dependable climbing partner that I have grown to trust. We share meals and the cooking and cleaning at the monastary. He has done some shoe work for me and I am very pleased with the quality of his work not to mention the cheap price. I have never known him to turn down a climber in need of help. As for his commets on this web site I find him amusing. GIVE THE GUY A BREAK.

I've refrained from commenting thus far because really, I have been sitting here google-eyed and slack jawed at what happened.

What I did was basically the same thing as LLR - it should have stopped at me, but I repeated what I was told. It's human nature.

Unsolicited advice is nothing more than gossip. LLR thought she was helping me out as a new person to the board. I could have stopped talking to her after our first chat and I didn't.

And as far as everything else said thus far - yes men can be pigs, but this just proves that women can be too (in various different ways) and mud wrestling sounds like a lot of fun. (someone say there was cash involved?) I need to go find my shoes anyway - they got sucked off in a mud pit in the Southern Region, with some modifications and rope around the trees a nice pit could be constructed there.

Moral of the story? I don't know that there is one...basically, no one ever graduates from high school. Artsay's right, most all of us are guilty at some point.

It's that damn telephone game they teach us as children.

Yeah, Jesse is one of the most likeable climbers in the Red. Knowing there are people like him out there gives me hope for the rest of us

yeah, i guess you guys may be right, it just pisses me off that I was asked about LLR by someone on this message board and I refrained from saying what I had heard simply because we all do stupid stuff and I gave her the benifit of the doubt. Even if what I had heard about her was true, I didn't go spreading it around...
I guess I expected her to do the same. Maybe I just need to lower my expectations around here?

By the way, probably everything you've heard about me is true, I deny nothing
