It was a little "sporty" maybe it played to my strengths, also hit it fresh, but the 2 routes I mentioned have seemed harder to me as did The Return of Chrys Snyder. We could call Bare Metal & Chainsaw .12b and CYG .12a, works for me! Comparing it to areas besides the Red I'd say 11d-12a sounds close.

Not to beat a dead horse but now that the on-line guide has been updated and The Oasis has been added you gotta check out Paddy O'Keefe's Walking Shoes as a contender for the coolest 11d.

As for coolest 12a/b sport route, The Red is the land of classic 12a/b's and it is just about impossible to pick the coolest one...maybe the coolest dozen, maybe:

Gung Ho Military Wall
Baremetal Teen Torrent Falls
Stay the Hand Roadside
Infectious Left Flank
Buff The Wood Motherlode
Technical Foul Arena
The Gift Long Wal
Go Easy Billy Clyde! Funk Rock City
Nicorette Military Wall
Twinkie Phantasia
Deep Six Global Village
Blankety Blank Oil Crack

...and the list could go on...and on... and on...
Lest we all forget... climbing is a mostly meaningless pursuit that we do for fun.

My favorite routes in decending oder.
1) The Mantle Route.
2) Come in your Lycra
3) Possum Lips
4) Nevermore
