Dreaming
Re: Dreaming
My dreams are lame, the New and City of Rocks, with a trad rack too, be nice to tick the Grand Teton on the way back too.
Re: Dreaming
Owens... Wow! I would not put that on my dream sport climbing place..
I do love the bishop area, but for the alpine climbing. Minarets, palisades, and the east side of the Sierra!

I don't have haters, I have fans in denial.
Re: Dreaming
how about Chamonix? since there's more there than one can do in a lifetime it doesn't matter that you'll only be taking 10 days- and so you might as well get started? of course, the girls in Spain, ..excellent belayers
training is for people who care, i have a job.

Yes, I understand that having a month or more to travel would be optimal... but I don't see that happening in the 5 years. So, I could choose not to travel overseas until then or I could enjoy as much as I can now. It is not like that if I do a trip this year, it precludes me from going back for a month in 10 years. I went to Europe last summer for 11 days and felt like I got to see and do alot.
My friend went to Orpiere and loved it there. SCIN, is that close to where you were at?
Right now, I think Kalymnos is high on the list.
