Appalachian Spring felt easier than any other climb of that grade that I've been on; way easier for me than Orange Juice.

Well, then, I stand corrected. I guess I was just having a good day and it fit me like a glove.

Orange Juice is a really good route on beautiful rock. It goes at .12c, and what most people call the crux is crimping on small holds and highstepping on a gently overhanging face. maybe 15 degrees, tops. rr slab.

Alrighty, my ticklist is overflowing now.
I am most definitely heading to Eastern Sky Bridge and Funk Rock City next week. It's gonna be my fifth time at the Red and for some reason I never made it there despite the fact that it looks to be definitely more my style than anywhere else at the Red. Go figure.
Really appreciate all the input. Will report back to let you know if any of them went down easy.

I hear ya, but at the same time, I usually can't make it to the red before late May/early June. It gets reallly hot, but it's never stopped me from having decent climbing days. For sure these are not sending temps, but I'm not there to do that (except for maybe one
).
Tell you the truth, I'm actually a bit more worried about the rain this season. I look at the forecast and I see nothing too encouraging. Is it real bad?
