While this deed is not even evidence for God, it does smack of unfettered achievement, to which I raise my glass -- mmm, the misty taste of moonshine and a tear drop in my eye. I toast your conquest over the weak (yet persistent) force of gravity.

As you are correct that gravity is, by force relationality, very weak; Lee is the Strong Force.

Did it go down easy?
- Yes. Its a topic for another post, but I either walk a climb, or I dont send. Im not one of the people that can go "a muerte". I need to learn how to fight for it.

I know you guys like focusing on weight. What was the weigh in for that morning?
- Not good. I started the season at 165. I weighed in at 175 that morning. When the season came, I quit running. Time to start up running again.

How many rest days did you have going in?
- 3. I think that was key.
Was there direct sun on the bass mouth hold?
- You can tell you have done this climb already. The sun was setting, temps were 50 degrees, there was no humidity. The bass mouth felt like velcro.

What was your warm up for the day? Which go of the day was the send?
- I went up Mercy, traversed over to Table and rehearsed the top crux twice. Sent on the first go of the day (so I am claiming an onsight).

What where the temps?
- Perfect. Too cold in the shade to stand around without a jacket, but climbing without a shirt on.

Total attempts?
- This season? Id go with 30-40. I tried it last fall as well. I feel like Ive been on some version of Table for 10 years though, if you count Mercy, TOC and TOCd.

Do you feel like this one was harder than Dirty Smelly?
- For me it was a big step up. Crimps are a weakness of mine, and I had to learn to recover on this route, where on DSH, you get two full sit down rests and a few really good knee bars.

I'll stop....... What is next?
- Hopefully the sit start to Table Direct. I just havent told Matt or Blake yet.
Thanks for the interview. This has been fun. And FYI, im counting this as being published in the climbing media.

The rest of us are trying to have fun & you're making us look like a bunch of uptight jock types.
So does Lee's redpoint reek of elderly ball sweat and desperation? Ha ha.

It took me so long, that I have redefined the word project.
