I'm not sure what you are getting at. The oil prices are high because of the unrest in the middle east and as a result W is still lining his pockets.

Lining pockets (building a savings) can be a side effect of business savvy.

do you know that all Presidential investments are put in a Trust during their tenure?

and do you think Obama is doing all he can to bring prices back down? (grow some balls about where we stand on the middle east issues, release some oil reserves if needed) Why is it when it is "your" guy (either side), the same identical actions are somehow justifiable..I dont see how that is having a real conviction about anything....

What's up with the whole pick-and-choose-when-government-steps-in politics?

For instance--dry county? What happened to the whole "I don't want the f'ing government telling me" thing? Where's your crazy reactions and town-hall screaming at a county-wide ban on alcohol consumption? Howabout abortion? Isn't that government intrusion, too? What about the free-market system itself--your core principle? I'm confident it doesn't work, and was proven by this fucking bailout. Guess what? Surprise! People are greedy--they steal and cheat. Perhaps some regulation is needed.

Try as you might, the president is moderate. I know Glenn Beck says he is satan incarnate, but there are people much more lefty than he is. You want so badly to believe the Fox News caricature that he is this liberalsociafascinazi-antichrist-musli-nutcase that you'll do anything to try and prove it despite any evidence whatsoever. Fact is, your team is trying to move the "center" to the right, and it's is probably happening to some degree. But for the sake of legitimate argument, the president's positions are centrist.

Remember when you all went berzerk when he wanted to give his speech on working hard in school--encouraging kids to turn off the video games and study? You made it seem like he was brainwashing them. What about when his wife gave a speech on eating healthy? You fuckers were upset at that, too. When ol' W was in there, you couldn't get Fox news to say something bad about him--afterall, he's the COMMANDER IN CHIEF. You never talk shit about the COMMANDER IN CHIEF, right, Rush/Sean Hannity?

Conservatives are just mad W sucked as a leader, he fucked up a bunch of shit - ie. the economy/IRAQ (still going)/Katrina, etc., and Obama is having to clean the mess up--but it's just not going fast enough for you.

I love how tough you right-wingers talk, too. But when shit hits the fan and comes right down to it, you run and hide like the "lefties" you love to hate. Any of those conceal-and-carry-superhero citizens come to the rescue in Tucson? No. Howabout Virginia Tech or any other shooting spree we can remember? No. So based on all logic, does arming entirety of the public make any sense as a way to "prevent" crime? No.

In the end, it's much easier to create chaos than order, I guess. It's easier to just yell and start wars and chop shit down today, than actually use your brain to save things for generations to come--to "conserve" (more irony). You call liberals "tree-huggers" and all this other bullshit when they are trying to save areas that are getting ruined by industry. Those lefties are probably trying to save lands that you maybe hunt or fish on. Shouldn't hunters and environmentalists be on the same page about saving lands for use?? Yes, there are extremes on both sides, but I'm confident, the leader of our country isn't one of them.

SO, why is the polital dialogue broken in the US? Because the positions on the right are so without reason, illogical, that reasoned debate is impossible. I'm so sick of this race to bottom; this give-stupidity-the-airtime, this reverse-elitism by you conservatives. Howabout stop being hypocrits? Howabout coming up with actual solutions that won't fuck us all over?

And stop using the God excuse! That excuse isn't solving shit. We are all fucking sinners here, so get off it.

Now, who wants to climb!!?

Pig, cmon... almost drank / snorted himself to death (along with his fluffer Glenn "the world is ending" Beck), had a rich daddy, IIRC destroyed a business or two that were handed to him, bailed out by daddy. I wouldn't call any of that shrewd. Privileged, but not shrewd. Also, I'm pretty sure there is no intellectual requirement to buying a baseball team. If you sit down at the table in front of the current owner and can write a check that doesn't bounce, you are in.
