Not so hot for me- the few trips I got out on were great, but couldn't get out this year to save my life.

Commited to many weekend day trips. Had a better spring and summer but the focus and energy kind of fizzled during the fall. Let's hope December will yield some more days as I want to wrap up a couple routes I'm agonizingly close on. Second full season at the Red down. Overall I give it a 7.5 meh..........

I'll rate this year as about 9. I had a good year of adding a new emphasis on training and it paid off outside. And I got to train and climb with new friends and old buds. I think next year can be even better, which is exciting.

From a learning standpoint, this season was an 8. Feel like I have a much better understanding of how to push forward. I also saw some good gains on my weaknesses over the summer.
Still takes me forever to close a route, but I think it is because I reach for things just outside my grasp. Did get a new numerical highpoint, but easier rated routes have felt harder.
Really looking forward to this winter training cycle. So far it is going great. Dont plan on breaking new ground in the Spring, but hope to become a faster closer.
From an EGO stand point, this season was a 2. Mine was destroyed. A friend of mine who says he is weaker sent a route in 3 goes that took me over 20. Michelle sent everything she freakin tried. And Meadows keeps breaking new ground. Yep, EGO was demolished.

Absolute 10 for every aspect of my life for the year, as busy as it was with school and FT work. After Thursday, I get a whole month of NO last-minute studying!

And the RRGCC also had a great 2010: We refinanced with the Access Fund and saved ~10K, had another fantastic JATD, accomplished the most lucritive Rocktobefest yet, and got to see gyms bump up their community involvement such as Hoosier Heights raising over 5K for a comp. We've also started blazing some trails on improving response time to accidents. Go team. Go community!

I would have to say a 9.5 Managed to get 20+ days on the rock. Met or exceeded climbing expectations. Just good to be back in the sport after 8+ years off. Took of a couple weeks to heal, now time to get disciplined and in shape for 2011. Can't wait...

9. Mostly because I got the hell out of KY. Started off the year in Mexico. Went to Hueco for the first time this spring. Then spent the fall in Yosemite. Did many solos in the high country and did another solo of El Cap via Mescalito. Any year that has an El Cap ascent is a 9 for sure! most likely a 10 for most people.
