With limited parking, maybe a high speed transit train can come into the valley with the new highway changes....you never know.

Pigsteak is starting to sound like a broken record BUT his idea is on the right track. The only way to deal with the crowds and the lack of their contribution is to limit their numbers to a manageable amount. Set up a system like Dr Bob has at Torrent. Do it on a trial bases and see what happens.

Possibly. I also think that a large sign with a "requested donation $__" like @ the Obed parking off Doc Howard might help garner some funds. We always throw in a couple more bucks...

i think this should be tried first. the sign could be changeable. good season? low figure. bad season? high figure.

People know that more money is needed--but most people "compute" that figure themselves. my guess is that we could all use a little direction in our "computations"... it would be a shame if the effect of this message to the masses were diluted because people had an unrealistic figure to go from. (a poll would probably reveal that most people think less is needed than the actual average figure per person).
