Back in the day...which was oh not so long ago (~3-4 years ago) Miggie told me he would occaisonally use different ingredients just for the hell of it...he said he had made dough with no milk in it and also with different flours, sometimes no wheat.

I am a vegesaurus...as my nephew calls me (not vegan), and I do it for health reasons, however when at miguels I just go with lite cheese...I mean come on its MIGS! That and I am so freaking hungry after hauling my big ass up some routes I will eat almost anything...

Because vegetable make things taste good. You're just beating around the bush.
efil lanrete... i enjoy the sound, but in truth i find this seductively backward idea to be quite frightening

Sounds like the potential for major contention within the group. Maybe Survivor should explore this situation...

Also sounds like the premise for an "Alive" type movie where some of the soccer players in the downed plane are vegans and the rest survive.

Since we're getting a cabin, most of our food will be grocery bought and cooked, but I was curious about whether or not Miguel's had any vegan options on the chance that we decided to eat out for a day or two (some of our group is vegan).

Thanks in advance
As someone already said, pizza with veggies without cheese would be one option. You build your own-- put whatever you want on it. And Miguel's is one of the few places where you can get beans, chickpeas, etc. on your pizza, so your vegan friend can up the calories and protein... Baked rice or pasta dishes can also be made without cheese and with any vegetables, beans, etc. that are in stock. Salads are vegan, too. Dressings served on the side in single-serving packages, i believe at least one kind of packaged dressing is vegan. (or your friend could bring her own dressing and put it on salad.)

So bottom line, if you are looking for vegan-acceptable "cheese substitute product" to go on pizza, I don't think they have that. But other than that, no problem.

Hey local, Pizza Hut is using a soy mozzarella cheese substitute for a vegan pizza - Galaxy Nutritional Foods'(R) Veggie (Soy) Mozzarella - Contact info: http://www.galaxyfoods.com/AboutSite/foodService.stml

I think all of the meat and cheese at Miguel's is vegan.
