This BBS is primarily for climbing related topics. All other topics have forums for discussion to keep that crap filtered away from obvious view. Words fly and sometimes people get offended around here. What's new. But PM's are where it can get personal and you have been contacting a person you DON'T know while stating you do. You_are_harrassing_her. She even posted your PM to get you to stop but you didn't. And why? Because this is a funny game to you that one of your buddies asked you to do? What about this do you not get? Please....enlighten me...

And yes, a user could be banned for harrassing another user.

Do you notice you can't view someone's email address from this site? Do you know WHY this is? It's mainly because there's an attempt for user privacy to be maintained around here. You and your buddy violated that. Now you two are upset? Man, just freakin' apologize, leave the girl alone, and get over it.

There are not any Lexington Climbing Cult rules. That's totally unfair. This whole deal freaked me out and my friends are just supportive, wonderful people. rhunt and pigsteak apologized for a practical joke gone too far and I've explained why it was neither practical nor funny. Also, we worked that out. My buddies are just showing you how it's done. Now that we're all cozy, it's on. We all hack on each other. We either know one another or we've never met. The cat and mouse game isn't the same thing. Having someone say, I know you, I've seen you, I know your dog but I'll never tell you who I am, is different altogether. If you had a really good female friend and someone did that with her, how would you feel?

This is a great site! The administrator would never ban someone unless it was for harassing or unwarranted behavior. He has an amazing amount of integrity and honor. But he also takes this seriously.
