Are Lee, Wolfe and Powell Co EMS services BLS or ALS?

On a related note, that same day my wife and I say another ambulance at the parking area for Eagle's Nest. Anyone hear what happened there?

gripster,
My name is John May and I am a WFR and a member of the WC SAR team. To answer your question regarding the SAR vehicle parked at Eagles Nest.... A couple was hiking the osborne bend trail and became somewhat lost. This was more a result of daylight running out and a tad bit of panic setting in. The couple was located by members of Menifee SAR within minutes of our arrival. Their were no injuries reported by the hikers or any SAR member.

A friend of mine helped out with the accident on Roadside. According to him, the guy fell a bit above his first piece, which he had put a pretty long (and unnecessary) runner on. He was pretty much in groundfall zone immediately after climbing above it, and hit the ground without ever weighting the piece.

Something to think about with long runners.

Wow, climbing sounds dangerous. I am glad I do more fishing now a days. Have not seen any EMTs or SARs on Cave Run all year.
