"glen, wtf is going on here?"

Sorry, I was not around for this one.
But I do remember DW [the guy in the pic]
did tell me something about dealing with
this tree.

Note: DW works in the Forensic Division
of the Kentucky State Police and is very
experienced in climbing/rappelling.

He will not speak to me about certain cases
until they are either made public or closed
but I know they are working on the
Nicole Penix Vanzant [Murder] Case:

The FS website says that FS 9, 9A, and 9B are all closed. That sucks.

Take it or leave it.
The information is offered in historical context.
by the way, would it be possible to add just a few more little boxes/links/pictures to your website? I'm trying to use it to give everyone I hate an instant seizure...

Wish I knew before I came up on June 30th for a week of trad' up that way. Dayyymm.,,,, looks like I'm outa luck for this summer. Sign at steel bridge says ALL of 9, 9A and 9B are not accesable. I'm guessing it's so they can dump loads of materials anywhere, and have speedy trucks whizzing down the road without coming across a stray climber in a Volvo on a sharp turn. Rumor has it that projects here don't get done anywhere near the projected dates, so figure into 2010 possibly.

This weekend I parked at the start of the closure. 20 minute walk to Pebble Beach parking area, then another 25 to Muscle beach parking area. The solitude was worth it.
