Muscatacrack... lots of good hard problems waiting to be done. If you think it sucks it is because you lack vision.

Andrew is a visionary...

ROLLO................self proclaimed wizard.......huh...........give me a break!

Looking at the width and depth of your spray list, your hardly qualified to be expressing the quality or lack of quality of anything realtive to climbing.

As a wizard............I am sure you are aware of the usefullness of an open (beginers) mind. I suggest you use it .....it would serve you well.

For every one else..............Muscatatuck Park is definetly not the greatest rock climbing in the country, but since there is not a lot of different rock in the area it might be worth a visit. Acutually, the setting is pretty good and peaceful.

A lot of hard climbers have come and visited, and have contributed. Even John Sherman. (vermin-v grades, etc)

Eric Gifford states on his web page..............."it a pretty good place for a sunday bouldering session." Funny thing is he has climbed here over fifty days.

Bottom line is ..........the quality of the experince will be determined primarily by your mindset.

Obviously,....... knowlegde of the weather and how it effects conditions is important. Humidity and wet springs often limit the area.

But, except for JERKS like ROLLO..................if you get rained out you can most likely hook up with the Park manager and climb in his gym for free.

This is how it works:

A normal training day (noon on saturday) includes: 7 to 10 warm up problems, then .......usually getting spanked on a couple hard projects, then a few cool down projects.

Next thing you know..........your tweeked, your fingers are shredded, and its getting late. But your not going home cause .....your getting some brews, cranking up the jams, and getting pysched for the evening session.

Most people will need tomorrow (sunday) as a rest day.

Peace
