Angry bat (not really a rattlesnake) on bedtime for bonzo

That artist did a lot of the labels for wines from the Bonny Doon winery in Bonny Doon, CA. Sucked when he stopped. I miss seeing those amid 'ordinary' labels.
The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.
You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president.
You realize that you control your own destiny.

the climber or the bat?
I deny all allegations of being a rodent. I may be ugly, but my teeth stopped growing quite some time ago.

I was talking to Johnny about snakes one time. He said there had always been rattlers on top of Bonzo in the shrubbery back along the ridge over the frontside routes. I've never seen any up there. I always go back and down the path to the top of the first pitch to rap back down. Didn't figure it was worth the risk of landing on a copperhead or disturbing the yellow jackets in the hole in the wall down below. They've always been there.

The walkdown (that Mike mentions) is the best way down. It not only avoids the copperheads (close to the Turret) but also avoids getting your rope stuck on the poorly placed anchors at the top. You do need to watch out for the rattlesnakes in the shrubbery.
