Last couple times I was at fortress I didn't see them there. Have they moved on?

How long do copperheads live? Do they occupy the same territory for the duration of their life or are there just that many snakes everywhere in the Red?

I gotta admit, the little buggers are kinda cute there, like a litter of puppies.. :P

That was taken at fortress a couple years ago. think the climb is turret. I couldn't get all the snakes in one pic... there were like 11 on that climb :shock:

snakes are all over, some places more but we just don't see them.

snakes will choose ceartin areas for breeding based on temp., shelter, escape, etc. if one snake moves from there anothe rmay/will take its place.
they will hang out in these places as long as they are not molested continuously. (yeah, i just used that word) think about why some areas are always known for snakes. location, location, location.

they are cute. at least copperheads are docile.
