you could always respond with korn instead

Looks like I am doing a half marathon in Oct...
I don't know about that one. I seem to be coming up more than a little short these days.

Which mini are you running?

C-bus, as a relay though, so only half. Is there an easier half? Anyone know?

haha.. no, but i may be unfairly biased to chicago. i do know, though, that it's considered one of the better ones and one of the flatter ones by other people, too. hopefully the fact that i love chicago isn't clouding my opinion too much

Someone else can correct me, but I haven't seen many hills in Cbus (maybe a few waves).

Indy has a full and half marathon in October (same race, but some people stop after 13.1 miles). It's ridiculously flat in Indy -I get depressed thinking that. I might run it, but it's a good month for climbing ...

Yep, I worry a little about missing climbing time to train as well. Wonder how well I can do just bumping up my current running a bit, with maybe a few longer runs in Sept.? Would like to run under 2:00 though, so might have to start running at night or in the mornings more.

merrick, Sometimes it is best to just go with a time proven classic, although there is some pretty good newer angry music out there.

Wes, let's take a look at the situation:

1. You live at the Red.
2. You don't have a standard 40+ hours work week.
3. You can't climb seven days/week.

I think you have time to train. You'll probably have to miss one weekend for the race and then the 1-2 days of recovery.
