way cool Merrick - (and wes too...nice shots of the action) I was raised Russian Orthodox, spent a lot of time in Russian churches, yet have not yet been to Russia in all my travels. Love the pictures...reminds me of my Grandmother.

After looking at those pics ,I think the horse we have at the farm is way too fat.
I really like the 3rd pic Wes. Did the Munchkinland guy get run over by all those horses? He looks kinda oblivious.

Wes those are awesome! I especially like the pic you took of the bugler. You can tell how small he is by looking at the thoroughbreds. What a great pic.

Nice photos Wes. I think it would be neat to have pictures of the crowds too. We have old pictures of Lexington throughout my office, and I find myself looking at the people in them the most.

did anyone notice the messed up Daktronix video board? Opening day and their rig is not working...whoops.

busty, I thought about taking some shots of the, er, "Philles" and thier keeneland outfits, but the big white lens already draws a bit of attention. Perhaps some of the hotties from here would join us for a Keenelend day, and I can get some good photos, without worring about getting beat up, or having security escort me out...

Rags, the screen looks fine when you are watching it, just not when the action is stopped. Did anyone notice the two horses in the photo were also the ones leading on-screen?

I didn't necessarily mean the filllies, so to speak, but a lot of those crusty old fellows who bet a lot are interesting, and just general crowd stuff.
