I still need to do it!
Yep! Pulled the Hylander over last week and did the Queen head bang thingy with my grandbuddies! One of the best moments of my life!
I want to but haven't done it yet. The last time it really came on I onlyl partly complied. Pulled my car over and sat at the rest stop and played some blues on my guitar for about a half hour totally free. It was as in the moment as a good climb. Alive, not caring about anybody else. Talk about feeling connected with the blood in my veins, Alive.

tsparks has the time to spray about - 44:34
They clocked me at 58:00, but I had my time closer to 56:00 (I didn't start my stopwatch until I was actually moving, even though it was a little bit past the start)

In the results they had the 'nettime' which was the chiptime. For me it was about 15 seconds different, and for you Wes, they had your time at 56:02. It sounds like you did the same thing that I did last year. If you start anywhere near the back you will spend at least 1 or 2 miles trying to pass all of the walkers.
All in all, it's a fun race, and it's good to see so many people out participating.

Oh, and by the way, I would gladly trade a couple of minutes to be able to climb 5.12+.

If you are fit enough to run under 45 minutes on at 10K, then you can climb 5.12+. Just got to train a bit...
Looks like I am doing a half marathon in Oct...
