Dude, my PM isn't an attack. You replied immediately defensive ("What the hell are you talking about?"). I think a normal person that sincerely didn't know what I was referring to may have responded with something more inquisitive, maybe even like..."I think you meant to send this to someone else...?". Tina is upset and I wanted to let you know.

While tracking IP address can be tricky and many people *think* that if they don't post that the IP isn't logged, there are still other logs and ways of seeing who is coming from where. Esp. since Ray is a bad ass infosec sysadm, and the server is at his house.

So, you can play dumb, or you can just sack up and come clean. If you are really some old school traddie, then you would think you have the balls to claim your own words. Or not.

Hey... JIMMY... that's not at all what I implied - and I never said that you were not threatened by a strong woman. My english isn't the best, and I could have been clearer. However, let me ask you a really stupid question:
What the hell does being a small version of a human being have anything to do with what I can say and what I can't say? If I were black, would you also say that ..."It is a funny thing that a black man like vic can say such things..."
Dude, Dudette... or who ever you are... you have got a lot of growing up to do.

Oh yeah, and if you are climbing harder than I ever will... then rest easy... smile, and be happy with yourself. I am glad you are climbing harder routes. If that makes you feel hot in front of the rest of the world, great... because I don't G.A.S. - I climb for my self satisfaction, and sticking to my comfort zone of 5.2 and 5.3's makes me happy.
! Enough with all that detestation ALREADY !
Smile & be thankful for what you have.

Wes,

I suggest that if you have any questions about me or my character,
you ask any of my climbing partners from over the years, and they will
set you straight.

Bob Molson, Bill Wade, Jack Hume, Wes Evans, Porter, Barry, Martin,
Miguel, and many many others.

Again, my incredulousness is that anyone would even think that I would
say anything derogatory against John ... Wouldn't you be a bit upset if
someone accused YOU of that?

Because of the simple fact that in spite of all your ASSUMPTIONS
you are totally wrong. But I don't imagine that THOUGHT ever passed
your brain once you convinced yourself you knew the TRUTH.

Michelle, one simple question? What would you do if someone
accused you of what you are accusing me of doing? Try to walk
a few feet in those shoes, OK? Any wonder I came back with
"What the hell are you talking about?", escpecially after SCIN
PM me with some reference to FIFO or some shit.

Okay, I don't post very often but I want to be sure that everyone on this board understands, so here goes;

Years before SSS started the RRGCC Johnny & a group of core climbers made numerous attempts at communication with the FS to no avail. The frustration level of these climbers continued to grow with each unsuccessful attempt at a climbers/FS relationship. This boiled over into explosions and Johnny pretty much gave up fighting. For those of you who knew him you would know that it took quite a lot for Johnny to give up a fight, however his emotional investment in the Gorge and clmbing in general got the best of him and he just needed some space from the situation.

Then along came SSS with new energy, and because Johnny had a deep respect for her, he again became involved in the quest for a climbers/FS relationship. This pretty much continued for him until his death last August.

If Johnny were still with us he would have posted to try to diffuse this situation, something he was very skilled in doing. As seen on this board and others.

Johnny knew and cared about everyone involved in this thread. He also shared a rope with many of you many times. So, it is very difficult for me to have this conflict among friends Johnny & I deeply care about. There really are more important things in life, like living! I know this all too well. So, I believe that just as in life the RRGCC will continue to evolve. I thank Johnny, and everyone involved in the organization for all of their hard work and dedication. I want climbing to continue to be available for you, me, and my son for many years.

I hope this will help. I think we all need to remember that this is the internet and not the best way to communicate. Telephone is better, but in person is best. Sometimes I think peoples words can be misinterpreted on the internet.

Thanks for listening.
Tina
