Since being in KY basically wastes a liberal vote anyway I may well end up voting my conscience and picking Jill Stein of the Green Party. Our views pretty much align. http://www.jillstein.org/

Yeah I'm considering voting for Dr. Stein too, especially since Kentucky is one of the most ass-backwards states in the US and the Electoral College continues to undermine our posturings as a "democracy." Anyone in Colorado, Nevada, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Florida please vote Obama tho... "the highly significantly lesser of two evils! (p=0.00001)"

Unemployment numbers are a farce. The national workforce has actually shrunk in the last 4 years. The percentage drop is based on less adults looking for work. Our population is growning, but less adults are working.

So they have only become farcical during the Obama Admin., or when did the numbers get bad? You do realize that charting these numbers has been happening for a long time.

@caribe.....Most government numbers are and always will be farcical. Doesn't change the fact that the workforce shrunk, causing the "improvement" in unemployment.

You can't be serious. The housing market is not simple, government spending is not simple, and war is not simple. They are highly complex systems that are effected by culture, time, geography, the freaking weather, etc. The american public loves to over simplify highly complex issues so that they can fit the solutions into tiny, little, digestible boxes that do little to solve problems, but are great for arguing on the internet.

Ah . . . no. The work force did not burp that fast in the past 20 far less in the past 4.

No joke, we are talking about some of the most complex multivariate regressions ever devised... hundreds if not thousands of significant variables. Calling these matters "simple" just makes disgruntled citizens feel much smarter than those dad-gern "stupid politicians"... but it's always irresistible to lay blame on one person or a small group of people.
