I didn't jam too much on Andromeda Strain, lots of lay backing. I thought i'd jam but it isn't really conducive to it. It's not super challenging, but it is intimidating. Once you get past the second little roof its pretty much over.

is it lay backing, or laying back?

jeeze PA. the jams are awesome and go on forever. I had more trouble with the feet. And there's that one spot that's always wet.

I jammed quite a bit. I jammed more than I laid it back. In some spots lay back is the only move.

Climb whichever way is more comfortable for you. I used lay back moves for the climbing and some jams at the two rests. When laying back the feet were fine. When you find the good feet, enjoy them. Make sure you have got some endurance, as once you start I didn't think there was any relief between rests. I definitely think it's harder than, say, Rock Wars...

And yeah, it's intimidating when you look it. But isn't that the beauty?

I think we are talking about this 5.9 something so much because we did it recently, but mostly due to its native beauty. I only wish I had gotten to it when I was less able; it would have been more enjoyable. The intimidation factor prevented that.

caribe, i've got something in mind (and scars on body) that might provide the challenge and intimidation you seek.

As long as the pro is good, I'm up.
