Can you please summarize and illustrate WTF your point is? People have been killed by and murders were hidden by instituted racial injustices down south 50 yrs ago? Wow, what a shocking development! Happens all over the world, all over the country, and my point is it's a mistake to consider it a characteristic unique to the South (even if it ever was). It's no worse here than anywhere else, and there are many other things we are and should be proud of around here.
Here's the difference between you and I. I have not criticized Chicago culture, or spoken as an expert on anything regarding such incidents. I don't consider myself an expert on such things and so I do not speak as an expert on such things. When you tell me who we are, how we think, which states are the South, and why we should all be ashamed I take issue. It propagates ignorance and stereotype and yeah, cluelessness.
