Could this be part of the reason that so many died. If so . . . this is sad and on some level worse than Pat Robertson's opinion about Haiti.

Why would Pres. Bush show his hand, even if he thought this to be true? Did Chirac confirm this? I think at best this was something "lost in translation"....

I'd call it malicious rumor, not info. Most likely it's pure BS. After all Bush was so PC that he insisted on referring to the struggle against Islamic Extremists as "The War on Terror". Absolutely no chance he'd be talking about Gog & Magog and such shit, even if he believed it.
