Pigs on the Wing (Part One) (Waters) 1:24
If you didn't care what happened to me,
And I didn't care for you,
We would zig zag our way through the boredom and pain
Occasionally glancing up through the rain.
Wondering which of the buggars to blame
And watching for pigs on the wing
Pigs on the Wing (Part Two) (Waters) 1:27
You know that I care what happens to you,
And I know that you care for me.
So I don't feel alone,
Or the weight of the stone,
Now that I've found somewhere safe
To bury my bone.
And any fool knows a dog needs a home,
A shelter from pigs on the wing.

Old man look at my life,
Twenty four
and there's so much more
Live alone in a paradise
That makes me think of two.
Love lost, such a cost,
Give me things
that don't get lost.
Like a coin that won't get tossed
Rolling home to you.
Old man take a look at my life
I'm a lot like you
I need someone to love me
the whole day through
Ah, one look in my eyes
and you can tell that's true.
Lullabies, look in your eyes,
Run around the same old town.
Doesn't mean that much to me
To mean that much to you.
I've been first and last
Look at how the time goes past.
But I'm all alone at last.
Rolling home to you.
Old man take a look at my life
I'm a lot like you
I need someone to love me
the whole day through
Ah, one look in my eyes
and you can tell that's true.
Old man look at my life,

I've taken 2 trips to the red since Terry passed and both times , caught myself looking for him and his VW. Have a few PMs from him that I just can't delete. This last trip I climbed a few of his routes, gold rush being one, and I imagined how psyched he must have been to find that one-- I could just see him grinning.

I think of him every time a make a pb & J (which is frequent) and put the pieces of bread together the wrong way (which is just as frequent).
I read a short story recently which told the real meaning of "kin". It said they are not just your relatives; your relatives actually may not even be kin. It said that kin are the people in your life that you know real well, quirks and all, and love. I think Terry was kin to more people than anyone I know.
Yeah, I miss him too!
