RRGCC Answer
I agree... well said, Hugh.
Also, hasn't it been proven time and again that having many people perform the tasks of the RRGCC instead of one would work beautifully?! Of course it has. Look at all the NPO's & other groups currently working this way. And the benefits of doing so would only unite this climbing community (which couldn't hurt anything) even more. Wow, imagine all us climbers working together for all our other climber friends... a utopia right here in our gorge for us all to enjoy. Yeah, it's lots of hard work, but also a ton of fun and totally worth it. I know tons of people who've volunteered in the past that have already said they're willing to jump in and help given the chance.
Personally, I feel that as soon as the ED actually does step down, the remaining hard-core BOD members who have been persistent enough and had the vision to see this "thing" through will have all the help they need to carry on. How's that for a run-on sentence?!
Everyone helping is not a novel idea at all, but for the RRGCC it would be a novel thing to have the help accepted. Let's look forward to better days ahead, stay strong as a group, knowing it will get better. Otherwise, we're doomed, and I don't like that idea at all!!
