Just clarifying. I still hold that this is a bolted crack and therefore a detriment to the climbing community.

Why doesn't everyone just rack-up with these?

1:Pull all the bolts
2:Place pro in leftover holes
3:?????
4: Profit

I doubt that that thing would hold up anywhere near as long as a bolt does.

Not to mention that repeatedly using those would erode the hole.... at least in the first case.

If you think that is a bolted crack, you haven't been to a certain crag with a 90 foot bolted dihedral.

I have. I may be wrong, but I didn't think it would protect well. Russ and Jeff would have tied Piggy down and if that could go on gear.

There's lots of bolted trad lines in HG... it's hard to narrow it down
