Eric,

Great action shots of River, they bring back so many memories. They make me smile, laugh, and cry all at the same time.

Matt and Amy,

Jen and I love you both!

Sorry to chime in late, I should stop by and read more than the Suck part of the forum. Saying I'm sorry seems such a ridiculous understatement. My heart aches for you.

Please keep us all posted on when construction starts. I've built a couple of houses from the ground up so I'll come bend some nails for you. I've got survey equipment as well so if you need it to get a level foundation to start, you know how to find me.

Okay! That's funny; I don't care who you are!

On the other hand, Piggie, you work when Alan is working, and all will even out! :P
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear about all this. I will be down in late May to help clean up/ rebuild or whatever I can do. Is there anywhere I can send goods for donation?

Wow, I just read over this again while looking for pictures of River Dog. It was strange to read it this far out from the fire. Its been a tough year to say the least. Not sure what or really why Im typing right now, could be the beer. Touched, is about all I can come up with. The kind words from everyone, the friends and strangers that gave so much of their selves to Amy and I as well as looking back at the events over the last few months with new eyes have truly brought me to tears(yes, very ghey i know). This community is special and we all should be proud to be part of it. Thanks again to everyone

very very ghey. is more like it. men should never cry. period. end of story.

however, a house fire will really f%%k you up. For me it has always been the smell afterwards. you never forget it.

so RRO stiffle back those tears, drink another beer, and push those ghey thoughts down so deep they never see the light of day ever again. these are the manly things to do.
