OK, I gotta jump in here, not to pick on Artsay but she did the best job of summing up the thread.
First, any woman that has ever felt nervous or uncomfortable in my presence should speak up. I consider myself a gentleman and it worries me that someone may feel they were treated with anything but respect for them as a person.
Second, it seems the men are getting a bad rap here (except for some, see above) and that women are just on such a higher level we should feel honored to even speak with them. Maybe I have a unique perspective but I've busted my ass for the better part of a decade trying to make a woman happy and I just feel like I wasted the best years of my life. Before her it was the same story, different woman so why try so hard to make something work when it gets you nowhere and you just get taken for granted? As many flaws as Men have, in my experience Women have just as many issues.
Now, that's my dirty laundry. So I hang out with dancers because everything's out in the open and you're playing poker with an open hand. Not everyone there is a total dick, it doesn't mean I'm any less courteous or respectful. It's just that I love the females and there ain't noone at my house. The way they smell, the way they feel, they way they sound, they way they move......
OK, sorry, back on topic.
Maybe there's a woman / man out there for everyone that will be worth the effort. It's possible there is someone that will treat you as well as you treat them, some people seem to have found it. I for one sure as hell am not holding my breath so I got a pocket full of singles, folded lengthwise.
