I was wondering if that was him camhead. Certainly didn't see him ticking anything while we were out there.

I'm 215 pounds of meat and fur and I'm full of rage over not being able to climb till the end of summer. Totally willing to beat somebody down as long as you guys help with my gas money.

ok tough guy. meet me behind Miguel's this friday night at 7. i'll be the skinny guy next to the skinny guy next to the skinny guy with the Prana shirt on.

at first, it might look like i don't know what's going on; as if i hadn't encouraged a brawl in an online forum. but rest assured that all i need is intense unilateral provocation.

BRING IT!!!!

Skinny people can Hit, and hard, The hardest I've ever been hit was by a guy that was shaped like a turnip. He hit me in the eye and broke my teeth!

A kid next to us heard this, and said "I have some blue chalk!" He must have seen the confused look that I gave him, because he quickly added, "hehe, just kidding." Talking to him later, we did find out that he was from Alaska. Pretty sure that he was the guilty one.

Anyway, we chatted it up a bit, he's a good, friendly kid, as already mentioned, just a bit naive. I didn't call him out on the blue chalk, or tell him that I knew who he was. I just dropped a couple hints that the blue chalk was lame. I think he has gotten the clue by this point.
you forgot the part where I was climbing one of the routes over by the tree (Unbearable Lightness?) and called down "oh. my. god. there is fucking blue fucking tick marks all over this."

I didn't realize that alaska dude was the douche. hope he heard me.

why tick marks at all?

Post by matt1260 »

I'm a climber visiting from the west coast... i noticed these tick marks (white ones) all over the place, even on easy 10s. Found it to be a little annoying. What's that all about?
The only holds we mark where I come from are the bad loose ones. If someone wants beta we just ask others or figure it out ourselves.
Just my 3 cents.
