not any more.. ;)

thanks for the heads up!
Shoot. I was hoping it was the schedule that was wrong and the webpage right. Not to be greedy, but I'm sure a lot of us who are doing the regular clinics were hoping to test our belaying skills with the Petzl setup. Any chance that could happen?

Another heads up, I take it that the info on the "What is RocTrip?" page is way out of date. I'm guessing you have many, many, more people now registered than the 322 indicated there, coming from locations not noted on the map.

I think Morgain posted somewhere that the Petzl clinic is a demo/instruction only. You won't get to belay and receive feedback for your skills.

nope, that's actually the most up-to-date thing on there. it's pulled straight from the db. people are doing alright with preregistering but there's always room for improvement.

regardless, we're expecting plenty of people to show up who haven't preregistered. that will make guessing how much food we need.. well.. "interesting", to say the least. ;)

as for the map, that's static and i haven't updated it for a while. sorry but it's too much of a hassle to go through the issues of making it reliable and live. i'll update it in the next couple days to show the latest registrants. in the mean time, get the word out to people to pre-register.

..ok.. couldn't wait..

that being said, paul, is there any way to guarantee that those of us who have pre registered will get fed? perhaps

it would suck big time to have pre registered and then bouron and toulouse short change us if we show up in say, the last 30 minutes of the dinner schedule.

this happened to karen and I at an adventure race recently, and they didn't even refund us the dinner charge.

wow!!! i didn't realize so many were coming from so far away!!! that's super cool. thanks for the update paul.

pigsteak, that adventure race sounds pretty crummy. i'm sure southern hospitality will shine here. :D

pigsteak, if you show up early enough, I can guarantee I will try and wrap your plate in backhanded compliments and vague insults.

Cool. It looks like I (and everyone else in NE Ohio) finally made it on the map. Although there is still some kind of map funkiness going on. When you click on the little markers it lists the wrong location. Click on the marker on Cleveland, for example, and it says Cincinatti. Probably not worth fixing--but interesting (to geeks like me who try to figure out how things work).
