I agree with SCIN, if some world famous dude came through town and soloed 5.13, this would all be much different...

I agree. A 5.13 solo in the Gorge. Nevertheless, it is a longstanding climbing tradition to whine about practically everything. It would be a shame, almost a sacrilege, not to honor that tradition.

I'd be willing to bet that the best climber in the world is someone we've never heard of....

while pulling off hard mountain, mixed, ice, sport, trad, bouldererering,
etc.

Well, I'm not even sure what "bouldererering" is, but if you're adding all that into the equation, then I guarantee the best in the world is someone we've never heard of.

In fact, I can only name a handful of climbers who are good at all of the above...

i dont care who it is if they solo anything at the red on that type of rock they are fucking retarded and need there heads examined, every day holds break in the Red if one hold might have crumbled then any fucker would be dead or hurting. And by the way if somone did die on the motherload land then there is a really good chance that he would close it. Get a fuckin clue people soloing at the red is retarded

I think Darwin would highly approve of soloing.
