People will read based on a desire for information. If it is interesting or important to them, they will read it. People will read a 600 page paperback dime-store novel set in 5 point type with negative tracking, but they will not read a sign posted on a trail that is legible from 20 feet unless they are interested. The space at the end of the paragraphs indicated the breaks, actually fairly pronounced. By inserting more spacing, you just think you are reading less and believing you aren't working as hard. Just a mind trick or really just not interested in the subject matter?
