I don't really know what I believe in...
For now, I believe that I'll have another beer!

Nope. Einstein didn't say that.

i believe in treating people better than i expect to be treated. i believe that i am alone in this world and that my friends and family are all that i will ever have that will help stave off that sense of loneliness. i believe that i am owed nothing but that i owe everything. i believe that i am just a small, indiscernable part of a much larger, much more gradiose picture. i believe that i have tried to have faith in a christian god and other god but i have never felt its touch or influence, its draw, but that i also cannot discount other people's belief in it and that my belief in a god will probably change throughout my lifetime. i believe that, if there is a god, that it has infinite forgiveness and infinite love, that it is everything around us and within us, that it is the good and bad, the beautiful and the ugly. i believe there is no Truth, no good, no bad, but that we use these ideas to define the world we experience because we have a narrow perspective and a great need for organization. i believe that everyday i fail to embody enough of the values i believe in and that tomorrow i have to try harder, give more. i believe that struggle and perserverence through adversity is to be chiefly honored. i believe that love should be treated like fire rather than water: water is scarce, pollutable, and finite; fire purifies, transforms, and is infinite, that it can be given to again and again and it will never run out until i'm completely used up. i believe that giving is greater than receiving, that giving should be done without any desire to receive anything in return. i believe that i am unworthy of everything given to me and that, because of this, i must return it ten fold. i believe that everyone is equal in how they should be treated and that each has an incredible story to tell if you just listen. i believe people are inherently good and that, for the most part, they want other people to be happy and live a full life but that their actions don't always end up displaying this desire. i believe that language is a cage, an imperfect medium that tries to bridge a gap between people, that it's extremely difficult if not impossible to completely explain a feeling, idea, or event, and that this miscommunication and misunderstanding leads to much of the pain and hurt in the world. i believe that it is the nature of all things is to be transient. i believe that selflessness is unattainable but should still be fervorently pursued. i believe that i am learning and changing every minute but that i will keep many of these underlying values with me because they define who and what i want to be tomorrow. and i believe, supremely, above all.. that there's always a chance to be silly..

That sounds more like Feynman, but he said if you can't explain something in general terms, it isn't fully understood.
