Allow me to rephrase.. Another sissy sport route that could/should have went on gear. If it goes without an X rating save the bolts for something else and leave it for the traddies to get all wet about and brag how bold they are.

Yes, I've NEVER climbed anywhere but the Red and the routes that are on my spray list

willy I dare say half the bolted lines in the red could go with gear, most of that sketchy...are you suggesting a resurrection of bearded men in painter's pants go out and send these and chop the bolts?

I plan on doing the first free aid Solo ascent of 40 oz this coming Saturday. Come and watch if you like. I'm planning on bringing A5 to the red. Then I'm chopping all the bolts on it.
