RRO, I don't know who you are, but you better not ever speak to Anti like that. Seriously, look your joined date, you have only been climbing in the red since 2005, Anti has been here since 03.

Well, I think this thread is supposed to be for complaining about gumbies and other irritants PLUS reporting accidents and what happened? IS that right? If so, there was an accident at Roadside on Sunday. A guy who seemed to know how to climb etc...and a couple of his very nice, but not experienced friends were there. They had trouble climbing Crazyfingers, then decided to try Stay the Hand (you guessed right--nobody made it to the first bolt).

Then, they were on Up Yonder and the climber fell on the crux (between the 3rd and 4th bolt). The belayer must have held the cam down (On a Trango-brand GriGri type belay device) because the guy decked and broke his ankle and had to leave in an ambulance. I heard that the belay device was loaded correctly, so I bet it was the ever common--"holding down the cam in a panic" problem.

Any idea on why there was an ambulance at the Military/Left Flank parking lot?
