tomdarch, There is a bare breast in there, and a couple of maybe not the photos you would want to have on your monitor if your boss walked in, depending on where you work. I don't think there is anything wrong, just trying to make sure that no one gets in trouble. As a photographer, several of the photos are the kind that we get, but never show (not the T and A ones). It is just cool to see them published, though I am sure the photographers had many, many more of the normal, standard stuff.

i think it's insulting that the chinese expected people to believe all their gymnasts were of age; developmentally, those girls are not old enough, intense training or not. i love how it's starting to turn into a race/culture thing, with chinese parents and coaches stating that it is their build, that chinese athletes are naturally more petite. this may be true, but that has nothing to do with other physical characteristics, including missing teeth!!
Courtesy of Andrew: "I don't think you will damage your escort unless she trips because she is so strung out on blow. Most people just take them to the rest area."
Missing teeth - oh, that isn't from the loss of front deciduous teeth, which is usually complete by about 13 years old. No, uh, you see, she, uh, lost those teeth in a training accident!TankAzz wrote:i think it's insulting that the chinese expected people to believe all their gymnasts were of age; developmentally, those girls are not old enough, intense training or not. i love how it's starting to turn into a race/culture thing, with chinese parents and coaches stating that it is their build, that chinese athletes are naturally more petite. this may be true, but that has nothing to do with other physical characteristics, including missing teeth!!
Evidently, a Chinese coach made one of those comments to the effect that "Asian" girls develop differently than "Americans." Typical hooey, but it sounds like they view "Americans" as some sort of genetically based ethno-racial group... I know, odds are he was just using "American" as a substitute for "European" but it's still interesting how other cultures view "race". In contrast, I wonder if he was ever in the gym when the US men's team was in there? For once, the athletes and coaches together started to actually resemble a good cross section of America! (Which is to say that it wasn't all "white")
Personally, I think it's a bit late to be complaining - and it's a bit nasty to the little gymnasts to wait until after the competition to start bitching. China has been using underage athletes for years, everyone has known it and gymnastics and the Olympics have let it slide (up until now) as long as China has cooked up some passports. It's too late to bring it up for this Olympics - rather they should be cracking down on future international competitions. In addition to it being very "sour grapes" at this point, it will also just play into some unfortunate feelings that many Chinese have about being shamed and beaten-up on. I really hope that they don't take any medals away (after all they may have been too young, but they did perform), but rather just make it clear that the rules will be revised and actually enforced in the future.
Bacon is meat candy.
The representatives of average america was the guys gymnists thanks to the goofy dude that got a silver or something on the bar. He was white. I feel ashamed for China, this underage thing seems so stupid and jepordizes all they have worked for in advertizing themselves to the world. I'm stuned that they could be so stupid.
