I'm confused. Several of the routes being mentioned have large ledges that you have to pull up / mantle onto. That isn't the same thing as being under a roof and pulling back out onto the face.

All of those lines are under 5.8 and have 10 foot roofs with jugs the entire way.

mostly it's and acute lack of technique. although lack of power plays a factor. lead head is usually fine. but i figure i'll never get better at it if i avoid it.

SCIN, next time you want to run the random route name generator you really should direct it to piggie. i think his bolting fury is about to slow down due to lack of route names. he needs you.

I'm not sure there is MUCH technique to pulling roofs, just lots of pulling...and roof...

Shock and Awe at the Hideout (Muir) has a roof pull with huge jugs. Anywhere you throw you will find something. Great confidence builder.

You need stronger abs (especially lower) and more bicep.
