Good Tent to live in for a few years?

Other Crags, Aid Climbing, Bouldering, etc...

I'd second the wall tent, just shop around a bit more, and you should be able to get one for $350 used or less, plus about $75-100 for a woodburning stove for it. They are way less claustrophobic than a dome tent, and can hold tons more gear.

But did you plan on moving it around a lot? If so, then I am thinking the wall tent is not the way to go.
WalMart tents all the way yo...that's where it's at, so if something should happen, oh like say a wildfire takes out your campground while you are in town showering/gambling/whatever....you are out very few dollars.

Nemo makes some seriously kick-ass tents. they are not cheap, however.

Anything from Wal-Mart or Coleman brand is pretty much crap. It will leak, and tear after the first big wind storm. Tents really aren't something you should cheap out on if you want them to last a long time under constant use.
