Make sure you get to Eldorado canyon in the spring. It's the best sandstone I've ever climbed.

Good luck out there Chris.

Thanks for all the good times, the cool routes, the problems, and places in and around the Red you've shown me over the years. Still remember that day we hit Jazz Rock, went bouldering at the bandit hideout and shot guns with your father in law. Good times. We can have another BBQ up on the Big Country ledge when you come back east. Just let us know ahead of time so Huggybone can put the grill back!
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Thank you all. I will miss you guys, and have missed you for the past couple years. It's been hectic trying to start a family and finish school. Plus, symapthy weight gain during pregnancy is a bear.

I'll follow up with everybody as soon as I get a free minute. Right now I am trying to spend as much time with Mandy and the kids before i go because they won't be moving out til May.

I'll definitely drop in for a visit from time to time. Our families are here and in a way this will always be home to me.

Thank you guys fro some great times. I still remember the day you're talking about Steve. Only in the southeast...

Best wishes to you all!

Hello Chaney,

I shared many a great ropes with you my friend. I wish you and the family a safe and successful journey out west. The memories we had in years past are some of my fondest and most cherished.

Give them hell Chris, Big Country style!

Best wishes,
Tony

I bagged my first Colorado peak today. It was only 7,850' with a climb of 400' but it had an amazing view. It's located in Centennial Cone Open Space park. It's the prominent point SE of the trailhead.

I'll be doing the blog thing as I go. Check it out sometime. I'll try to put more pics on it soon. I've got tons of great ones after only four days in town.

Did I mention I went to the highest point in Kansas? That was one of the most surreal experiences of my life.

Golden is awesome. The Red sucks.
