Traditionally I've always been a mammut fanboy, even though they tend to be a bit expensive, they are really nice ropes. And after reading up a bit, I'm really starting to like beal, and want to get a beal soon.
At 215 pounds, I like a strong rope.

beal sucks. i saw more of those and bluewater ropes blow a sheath while still really new.

edelweiss and sterling are good ropes. My edelweiss ropes last longer than my sterlings.

Shamis, you should check out the Axis by Edelweiss. One of my climbing partners is 230 lbs and his holds up great.
