Kipp, I think you are most Christ-like out of the lot.

That is a compliment pal. It really is. Despite what I have to say about JC, he wasn't nearly the fuck that his dad is purported to be in the 'good' book.

Caribe, I think Jesus' message is more relevent to us sinners than the saints, hence his choice of folks to relate to, akin to doctors not making rounds at 6 in the morning to check on the healthy... the elephant sounds pretty groovy, perhaps a Hindu entity?

I always wanted to ask my fundamentalist uncle about that "kill your daughter if she has sex before marriage" passage in the Old Testament there as I'm pretty sure his only daughter had sex a few times in her young life. I think the Bible ordered stoning. But the ensuing argument would've just made me angry and him more hateful so I didn't.

Are there still churches where they preach about love and forgiveness for your neighbors? I don't think Britney Spears qualifies as anything other than an abstraction for most humans.

I loved my uncle, even if he was an asshole.

And yes, I pretty much hate fundamentalists. You have to intentionally lobotomize yourself to believe like they believe. So I'm conflicted. At least I'm human, piggie.
