why does everyone on this board get boners when someone mentions vedavoshit? that place sucks. dickscin and odub the future of america talked it up because they enjoy crappy wide shit and dumb bouldering. here's the truth: vedacrap has like 3 offwidths and they all suck and contain big crystals of death in which the faracons are trying to obtain. also the bouldering sux because it's all slabby offwidths. "oh look at me, my name is scin and i like doing 5.3 offwidths on a slabby boulder. it's so much fun to do one hand fist stack and then top out on a port o potty". this place should be turned in to a school for idiots. go do some real climbing at devils tower and have some fun on some of the best splitters in the country.

You are so right. I only climb there for something to do on the way to Yosemite. The few offwidths that are there are overhyped and completely overrated. Nothing that you can fit your whole arm inside can possibly be harder than 5.9! Especially all the slabby choss at Vedashit. The goons that climb there get all cocky because they think they climbed a 5.11 OW or some such nonsense. Watch them try to climb 5.11 at the tower and see if they are still singing!

5.11 is 5.11....everywhere you go. Unless you climb Synchronicity, then it's 5.9.
