Private property is different than FS property.

pigsteak, man I just hope we have no disasters. Quite a few people have been busting ass for a long time getting this together.

In addition to the BOD and Bentley and especially Paul, Blake and Yasi and the Tacketts and Eric Cox and Burton deserve special recognition. There are tons more (the Miguel's crew and Linda), people are putting in stacks of man hours and have been for some time.

OK, I called the Powell County Sheriff's office and spoke to the sheriff. He said possesion and drinking are ok. He even said he encouraged people to have a good time. Public intoxication, DUI, walking down the road with a bottle in your hand, are obviously not allowed. He said call the Forest Service about their rules. According to the Stanton Office of the Cumberland District, you are allowed to drink in the forest as long as you are "being responsible and not intoxicated." Basically, everyone said be responisble and you won't have any problems. Since the evening's festivities are being held on private land and there are going to be shuttles and hopefully designated drivers, you should be able to get as irresponsible as public decorum allows. Before you ask, you do not have to practice your foil origami skills or run out and buy yourself a beer cozy, unless of course you drink so slowly your beer warms up, which is another problem altogether.

Charlie man you are right, so many people with so many dedicated hours. Can't say enough and a simple thanks doesn't even seem to cover it.
