These kinds of things always shows the lack of intelligence or laziness of many reporters and ad people who don't take the time to research what they are saying.

Great, now Dean Potter has an excuse. See "Where to try it" section B. It wasn't about being in tune with the rock, Saturn told him to do it!

what the hell happened to Saturn? they started as a practical company with little efficient cars. does it only take 15 years for a company to turn face from its founding principals and start producing the same old crap? i suppose if you're owned by GM it doesn't take too long
Sand inhibits the production of toughtosterone, so get it out and send.

Keep your eye on the ball man. As with all things in corporate America, evil starts with and is to be blamed on the marketing department.

I'm digging the photos. Boreal Vector climbing "boots". That was my first pair of shoes many a year ago. And, I really love the "El Cap" summit shot. Must have been taken before they planted trees in the Valley.

Some good stuff from the web site:

"Indoors or out, be sure to warn your instructor that you’re a climbing virgin--because he’ll need to spend extra time teaching you how to get into your harness and secure the rope with a figure-eight knot. Next, you’ll learn the cool lingo that will impress your friends when you casually mention belay devices, anchors and rappelling."
