Try a good chiropractor instead. All that a reg MD will do is give you drugs, which you may want, tell you to stretch and stop climbing. The stretching thing is truly the only good advise. Take up Yoga but not Ashtanga or power yoga. Try something a little less intense because climbing will build your strength- try to balance things out by stretching the muscles not just contracting them.

I go regularly to an awesome chiro and also take my soon to be 5 years old triplet girls. He is VERY gentle with them and me. Adjustments should never be painful.

Do you have a GP? That person will direct you better than we can.

Also, I strongly recommend a Thai stretching massage, which does a lot of really great and deep stretches for the low back (and every other part) that you can't do on your own. PM me for two people in Lex I've seen who were good.

Yes I have a GP, but I think I need a new GP.

Doctors are just like everybody else. Some of them suck, and some don't.
