Shannon,
Thanks for everything! Please, I hope you'll still have some small voice in the RRGCC. Good luck with all the other AWESOME work you are doing.

It is impossible to sum up what Shannon's done for the Gorge. She is one of only a couple of people in that class.
Thanks for getting it all started, thanks for keeping it going, and thanks for everything you will continue to do (whether you want to or not)!

I am deeply touched by all of your expressions of appreciation and well wishes. It has been an incredible adventure and I have loved being apart of it. I leave the RRGCC in great hands with a bright future and way more support than I could have ever imagined, or done by myself.
It is truly gratifying to see all that we have accomplished…a bunch of rag tag climbers pulling together, putting our differences and personal interests aside to work together, and with others. The thing that I take away from the experience is how much I have LEARNED from what has worked and from my mistakes, and all the people I have had a chance to get to know…new comers and old timers.
I found out that I like helping organize people around a cause that can change the world, hopefully, to be a better place. I love the world of nonprofits…everything about them, the passion, dedication and unique challenges…so I am psyched. So, that is what the RRGCC has given me and what I have learned from all of you. Thanks!
The really cool part is…I get to be myself for a change and not “be the RRGGC;â€

Shannon,
You're quite a local hero around here and I applaud you for having the motivation, strength, and vision to create the RRGCC and secure climbing for us all to enjoy.
Warm wishes and good luck to you!
