meadows, then you have continued the rush of erroneous statements. no where in my post did I even mention the word "hippie"...but in your haste to rebut, you assumed that I was pigeon holing all "hippies" the same way that, ahem, perhaps all christians are being pigeon holed.

here is a more concrete example for you..Chris Sharma is a practicing and very devout....(fill in the blank if you know)...anyone on here calling him a flake for his stupid, dark age beliefs? why not? oh, because he has a cute smile, can crank 5.14 in flip flops, likes a bit of weed, and promises to never down grade your project.

I am only calling out the hypocrisy of those who look for every excuse to say "see I told you so...Christianity is....idiotic, simplistic, non scientific, nomadic, irrational, etc" when 98.3% (to be exact) of them hold some very primitive faith based beliefs them selves. that's all.

(btw, please provide the link on square wheels..never heard of them, and I am all about proof.)

we ridicule this Christian museum, yet we will visit Devil's Tower and listen to the crap about a big bear scratching the sides of that monolith to create it? anyone on here want to stand up to the June closure of Devil's Tower for spiritual reasons? I don't think I have seen a link on here ridiculing the NPS for passing on the religious views of Native Americans.

Second, I don't know Sharma - just of him and don't care for the hype surrounding him. Sorry, I know you believe I swoon at the thought of him, but I don't.

Finally, to the meat of your attack - you can't call hypocrisy on all who dog on Christianity because not all are, "espous[ing] some mother nature, commune loving, do no harm, ,metaphysical, yoga rapture, spiritual mindset." Some just have a different understanding of science ... more factual (not fully, but more so than this presentation of earth's history).

BTW, an exhibit at this museum asserts that all animals were vegetarians before Adam sinned ... before he ate a piece of forbidden fruit. So be a good boy, Piggie, and instead of roast beef for supper, you should have bean sprouts and carrots.

mythology is a very big part of the human existence, and christianity has as much as any other religion. you can't prove or disprove it.

So true! So for punishment, God made Steve and introduced him to Adam. They lived happily ever after until Exodus. Unfortunately, in the summit that decided the chapters that would make this book that went on to become a number one seller and Hollywood hit, the director cut this story.
