ha ha, actually, my outward bound guru friends have always said you're supposed to burn the tp. i just eat it though.

i did an NOLS trip and we just used rocks or sticks to wipe, not TP. smooth rocks are the best but pine cones work alright if used in the right direction. Generally I try pooping before I get to the crag

it burned about 3-4 acres but it could have been a lot more if the local crews from lee county didn't get out there quickly
is 2 1/2 hours considered quick?
the climbers that were there containing the fire did an amazing job and prevented much more from being burned.

Quickly is 2.5 hours when you are assembling a crew of approximately ten people and driving a bit. Estill County was alos on hand and that is Irvine. I'm not sure where the Lee County crew was. Either way those crews were out there quickly.
Also, the manager (or whatever) of the Lee County crew has volunteered to come look at the remaining burned property and help us decide what to do with trails, etc. They were very helpful.
