laws are made by politicians because most politicians are lawyers, take DUI laws, they are legislated as to what a 1st,2nd conviction intails, the judge is basically removed from the process but should you find yourself in the farce the judge would suggest a lawyer, WHY? because before that asshole became a judge it was a lawyer and will most likely be when it is no longer a judge... the founding fathers' system of checks and balances have been abused by current crop of suckasses that we dumbasses elect to office
