Are people just going to whine, or is there something that can be done to improve the road? I seem to remember that it is a county road, so one far-fetched option would be to try to get the county to pave the road. Would having more gravel dumped on the road make it better?

That is a county road. I don't think that we will ever see it paved because of how little money that area has. Also the nature of that road such as how steep it is would take a lot of prep work to get the ground sutable for paving.
Unfortunately, I think that is a pipe dream! However, they typically grate it twice a year so hopefully that will happen soon.

You could take a shovel and rake and flaten some of the bumbs out if you really wanted, but my car makes it up with out spinning one bit. Hopefully it will keep more people out of the SR.
